Chuck Agnoff was
founder and President of Interroll Corporation, an international
manufacturer of material handling components. Among other
industry changing innovations, in 1990, Chuck invented and patented
the first internally powered, 24 VDC conveyor roller (U.S. Patent
#5,088,596) called the Driveroll®.
The Driveroll® became the building block for a totally new kind of
zone-controlled accumulating conveyor system which is still the
standard today. In 1997, Chuck retired from Interroll and then
started a new company making a patented device for winding automatic
watches (www.orbita.com)
where he is still active.

Steve Agnoff
pioneered the use of composite power transmission components made by
his company, Efson Inc., in the material handling industry.
Efson's product line of composite idler sheaves, pillow block
bearings, UHMW guiderails and tensioners are now standard components
used by most major conveyor manufacturers today. In 1995,
Steve's business was acquired by Fenner PLC, which today operates as
Fenner Drives. Steve also went on to an entirely different
field, becoming CEO of Pharmakon LLC., a pharmaceutical services
company. Pharmakon was acquired in 2005 and Steve retired a
few years later looking for new challenges.
